Cancellation policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026. Version 2026-09-13.4. Applies prospectively when validly agreed; earlier purchase terms remain effective.
Overview
This policy applies only if you purchase a Product through a subscription, recurring delivery arrangement, auto-renewing order, preorder, try-before-you-buy arrangement, or other Purchase Option expressly offered through the Services. A one-time preorder is covered by the preorder section; an ordinary one-time purchase of in-stock goods is not a subscription and is governed by our other applicable policies. This policy does not itself offer or enroll you in any program.
Material Terms and Enrollment
Before enrollment or payment, the applicable offer will describe its material terms, including the amount or method for determining the charge, billing cadence or trial period, when payment occurs, how to cancel, and material eligibility limits, return procedures, deadlines or special consequences.
By expressly enrolling in and authorizing a recurring Purchase Option, you authorize Candle Dippers and its payment processors to charge the payment method associated with the arrangement for each renewal at the applicable recurring price, plus disclosed taxes and shipping, until canceled. Consent to recurring charges is obtained separately from general purchase terms where required by law. Required confirmations, reminders and cancellation information will be provided.
Cancellation by You
You may cancel an eligible subscription or recurring Purchase Option at any time before the next renewal charge is processed. Once a renewal order has been processed, it cannot always be stopped, but you may still be able to return eligible items in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
To cancel, use the subscription management tool provided through your account, renewal communications, or other purchase-option interface, or contact support@candledippers.com. Where required by law, we will maintain a cancellation method that is at least as easy to use as the method used to enroll.
A timely cancellation request is not made late by our internal processing delay. We comply with any legally required cancellation method and do not condition a legally required cancellation on accepting a retention offer.
Timing
To avoid being charged for the next renewal period, cancellation should be completed before the next billing date shown in your account, order details, or renewal notice.
Changes to Recurring Terms
We may change subscription pricing, frequency, availability, or product assortment from time to time. If a material change affects an active recurring arrangement, we will provide notice as required by law or by the applicable purchase-option platform before the change takes effect.
Changes apply prospectively, with any consent required by applicable law. A policy update does not itself authorize an undisclosed recurring charge.
Failed Payments
If a recurring payment fails, we may retry the charge, pause the subscription, suspend future renewals, request updated payment information, or cancel the recurring arrangement.
Preorders
A paid preorder offer must identify the item and its prototype or production status, the estimated shipping date or window, the amount payable now and later, and cancellation and refund terms before you pay. Images must identify material prototype differences. If a preorder discount is offered, its actual price and conditions must be disclosed; no discount, deposit or final-sale term is created merely by this policy.
Shipping estimates must have a reasonable basis. If we cannot meet the disclosed shipping period, we will send a delay notice with a revised estimate if available and explain how to cancel for a full, prompt refund of the unshipped item and associated charges. We obtain consent where required for a delay or further delay. If required consent is not received, we cancel and refund. We may make non-material prototype or production refinements consistent with the agreed product description. Changes to specifications that materially affect what you bought require your agreement or an opportunity to cancel.
Request cancellation of an unshipped preorder by emailing support@candledippers.com. A request is not automatically approved unless the agreed offer or applicable law gives you that right. Otherwise, approval is at our discretion, including where production or custom work has begun. Any non-cancellation term, retained deposit or recovery of committed custom-work costs must be expressly disclosed and agreed before purchase and lawful; this policy creates no undisclosed fee or automatic deposit forfeiture. No such term overrides a mandatory delay-cancellation or refund right. We impose no restocking fee for an unshipped preorder canceled under a legally required delay notice. Refunds are made to the original payment method within the applicable legal deadline; store credit is not a substitute without your agreement.
Try Before You Buy
If a try-before-you-buy option is offered, the applicable product page or checkout flow will disclose the trial period, billing trigger, return procedure, and any fees or charges that apply if Products are not returned on time or are returned damaged, incomplete, or materially diminished in value beyond ordinary inspection.
Our Right to Cancel
We may cancel or suspend a Purchase Option for any lawful reason, including product discontinuation, fraud concerns, account issues, payment failure, inventory constraints, abuse of the service, or violation of our Terms of Service or other incorporated policies.
We will stop charges for canceled arrangements and provide any notice and refund required by applicable law. Cancellation does not erase an existing non-waivable right or specific purchase promise.
Relationship to Other Policies
All Purchase Options remain subject to our Terms of Service, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and Warranty & Product Guarantee Policy.
